Verrill Welcomes Litigation & Trial Attorney Elliott Williams

WESTPORT, Connecticut – Verrill is pleased to welcome Elliott Williams to the firm’s Litigation & Trial Group as an Associate, resident in the firm’s Westport office.

Williams represents clients ranging from large corporations to individuals in both state and federal courts at all stages of litigation, from pre‑suit investigations through resolution, tailoring his approach to the unique circumstances of each matter.

Prior to joining Verrill, Williams practiced as a litigation associate at a highly regarded maritime litigation boutique in Westport, where he represented vessel owners, vessel charterers, non‑vessel operating common carriers, and marine insurers in a broad range of maritime and commercial litigation matters before arbitration tribunals and in state and federal courts across the United States. During law school, Williams served as Managing Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice and participated in the New York State Office of the Attorney General Social Justice Division Field Clinic, assisting with nonprofit corporate governance enforcement matters.

Williams received his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, and his undergraduate degree from Samford University.
