Jim Cohen Interviews Maine Governor Janet Mills on “Eggs & Issues”

After two years as host of “Eggs & Issues,” the monthly business breakfast of the Portland Community Chamber of Commerce, Jim Cohen concluded his twentieth appearance with an hour-long interview of Maine Governor Janet T. Mills. During the virtual interview, Governor Mills touched on topics ranging from broadband connectivity, to a legislative proposal to take over Maine’s investor-owned electric utilities, to the State Budget, to the State’s experiences managing the COVID-19 pandemic. For decades, Eggs & Issues was an in-person networking breakfast held at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. However, since April of last year due to the pandemic, Eggs & Issues moved to a virtual platform hosted by Jim with guests ranging from US Senator Angus King, US Senator Susan Collins, Maine CDC Director Nirav Shah, and Maine House Speaker Ryan Fecteau. Jim has served as president of the Portland Community Chamber of Commerce since September of 2019, and this summer, Jim will be transitioning to the coveted position of “past president.”
