This role is a full-time, non-exempt position providing comprehensive client service, administrative, and operational support to the Private Clients and Fiduciary Services Group (FSG) in the administration of trust and estate management.
Trust administration responsibilities include, but are not limited to: initiating various trust distributions and payments; preparing and distributing regular statements; eFiling documents, statements, and tax returns; preparing accountings; maintaining the FSG trust database; assisting clients, trustees, beneficiaries, accountants, investment advisers and managers, as well as internal departments, with the ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Estate administration responsibilities include, but are not limited to: under attorney supervision, managing the complete administration process of estates, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining estate documents, reviewing asset valuations, settling outstanding debts, and distributing assets to beneficiaries; preparing and filing probate documents, such as petitions, inventories, and accountings; serving as a primary point of contact for estate-related inquiries from personal representatives and beneficiaries; coordinating the resolution of outstanding debts related to the estate; assisting in the preparation of estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns; maintaining meticulous accounting records of estate income, expenses, and distributions; and collaborating closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to provide seamless support to clients and ensure efficient estate administration processes.
