Verrill Attorney Jonathan M. Dunitz Elected President of the Maine State Bar Association
PORTLAND, Maine – Verrill is pleased to announce that attorney Jonathan M. Dunitz has been elected President of the Maine State Bar Association (MSBA).
The MSBA's policy-making organization is comprised of a 23-member board of elected governors. Elected biennially to two-year terms by the Association's members, the board members meet approximately 10 times each year to devise and execute strategic goals to promote the honor, dignity, and professionalism of lawyers, advance the knowledge, skills and interests of MSBA members, and support the public interest in a fair and effective system of justice.
Dunitz previously served as Vice President of the Maine State Bar Association and is currently a member of the Bar’s Access to Justice Tax Credit Committee.
Dunitz's law practice is composed of food and beverage law, energy telecommunications and natural resources law, insurance coverage and litigation, commercial litigation, appeals, and mediation.
Dunitz received his bachelor's degree from Ithaca College and his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law.
