Verrill Welcomes Attorney Bianca Burns to the Firm’s Litigation & Trial Group

WESTPORT, Connecticut – Verrill is pleased to welcome Bianca Burns to the firm’s Litigation & Trial Group as an associate, resident in the firm’s Westport office.

Burns focuses her practice on all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including motion practice, legal research and writing, managing complex electronic discovery and trial preparation.

Before joining Verrill, Burns practiced as a commercial litigator in New York, representing large financial institutions, companies, and individuals in a wide variety of litigation matters including contract disputes, government investigations, and white-collar defense. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Carol-Novey Catuogno at Bergen County Superior Court in New Jersey.

During law school, Burns was a student attorney at the Rising for Justice litigation clinic, representing clients facing eviction proceedings in the Landlord Tenant branch of the D.C. Superior Court. She was also a litigation intern at the National Resources Defense Council and law clerk at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.

Burns received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School and her bachelor’s degree from DePaul University.
