This will be a discussion on smart curtailment with Trevor Peterson, who will be discussing Stantec's ECHOpitch. ECHOpitch combines bat activity and seasonal and meteorological inputs to focus turbine curtailment on periods and conditions with highest risk. This way, wind project operators can boost production of renewable energy while maintaining bat fatality at low levels.
