Verrill Announces New Chief Financial Officer Lisa LaMarche

(February 9, 2022) – Verrill is pleased to announce that the firm has appointed Lisa LaMarche Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2022. LaMarche, who joined the firm as its first Director of Finance in 2010, now serves as the firm’s first CFO in its long 160-year history.

As CFO, LaMarche will continue to oversee the financial operations of the firm, as well as provide strategic financial and operational insight and leadership. LaMarche was an integral member of the leadership team carrying out Verrill’s three business combinations in Connecticut, Maine, and Massachusetts. She works closely with her team of 16 managers and staff, in addition to fellow firm leaders to position the firm for profitable growth.

Prior to joining Verrill, LaMarche, a Certified Professional Accountant, spent a decade in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bentley College (now Bentley University), magna cum laude. LaMarche is a current member of the National Association of Legal Administrators and formerly served as an officer of the association’s Downeast Chapter.
