2021 Employment Law Annual Update Series: Part Three
Join us for the third part of our 2021 Employment Law Annual Update! The virtual series will continue through the year on the third Thursday of each month.
This year, we are taking every precaution to make sure our clients and our community stay safe during the pandemic and, as a result, we are making our usual one-day conference into a virtual series spread out over 2021. Participants will be provided with the information they need to navigate the ever-changing labor and employment landscape, as well as CLE and SHRM credits to meet any licensing requirements that participants may have.
Part 3: The Effect of COVID-19 on Employee Benefit Plans – Making Sense of the Abundance of New Legislation and Guidance
Join Verrill employee benefits attorneys Karen Hartford, Bill Jewett, and Chris Lockman as they discuss the various relief provided by legislation, regulatory action, and other agency guidance intended to assist employers, plan participants, and ERISA fiduciaries during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This program will discuss changes to your retirement and health and welfare benefits that may result from The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, and guidance issued by the IRS and DOL.
Webinars are 60 minutes each and provide 1 Maine CLE and 1 SHRM credits.
Stay tuned for details on the rest of the series!
